USB2.0
Introduction
The universal serial bus (USB) combines the features included the plug-and-play and strong extendability to computer accessories which provides a standard of data communication to the industry and help reducing the manufacturing cost on a mono-interface. From a keyboard, mouse, or joystick, to a printer, scanner storage drive, modem or digital camera, both input and output devices can be connected with a computer through a USB port. The 12 Mb/s data rate of USB 1.0/1.1 was intended for higher-speed devices, and the lower 1.5 Mb/s rate for low data rate devices such as input devices. The advance USB version 2.0 can support the data rate up to 480 Mb/s and it is frequently applied on the digital camera, high-resolution scanner and portable storage device. USB 2.0 plug is also compatible with the port and driver of USB 1.0/1.1.
